FIFA appoints normalization committee, disbands TTFA

The T&T Football Association has been disbanded as football’s world governing body FIFA has appointed a normalization committee to run the daily affairs of football in this country.

A FIFA statement read on Tuesday, “The decision follows the recent FIFA/Concacaf fact-finding mission to Trinidad and Tobago to assess, together with an independent auditor, the financial situation of TTFA.

Bravo back as Red Force captain

Darren Bravo is back as T&T Red Force captain returning to the regional 4-day squad for the 8th round of matches.

The Red Force will host the Windward Islands Volcanoes looking to take its momentum from the 147-run victory against Barbados pride into this match.

Several West Indies stars including Jason Holder, Alzarri Joseph and Shimron Hetmyer are all back in the tournament.

The match is being played at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy.

King's XI Punjab takes control of Zouks

This was re­vealed by Chief Op­er­a­tions Of­fi­cer (COO) of CPL Pe­te Rus­sell at the San­dals Grande St. Lu­cia Re­sort and Spa in Gros Islet. King's XI Pun­jab which has played every edi­tion of the 11 IPL sea­sons will now fol­low in the foot­steps of the own­ers of the Kolkata Knight Rid­ers (KKR) who pur­chased the T&T Red Steel three years ago.

Is the TTFA ‘technically’ insolvent?
