One bandit has been shot dead by police, while two others are in police custody, following an attempted robbery in Goodword Park, West Moorings.
According to a resident, at around 1 pm, three armed men broke into a home at Ascot Road.
The home belongs to relatives of former Petrotrin Chairman, and businessman, Lindsay Gillette.
Arriving at the scene, at 1:45 pm, Guardian Media was told by police that the scene was still active.
Lindsay Gillette was at the scene and confirmed that all his relatives were safe.
The parents of Krystiana Sankar will try again today to get her out of jail after her attorney, Larry Williams, successfully filed an application to have the terms of her bail adjusted.
Sankar, 24 and Yannis Pebbles Augustine were each granted bail to the sum $6 million on Monday after they appeared in court jointly charged with possession of marijuana and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking alongside Aruba Eligon and Jervon Cole.
