Ian Rooks

Rooks is no stranger to the camera, he has travelled throughout the length and breath of Italy doing a television programme for the BBC. Although not the host for that programme, Rooks acted as the coordinator of the chefs and recipes featured in the programme. The show was  hosted by well-known Italian chef and author Valentina Harris.

He again loan his expertise to the London based  Conran Octopus publishing group, which at the time had produced a coffee table cook book in Italy.

He has also travelled extensively through France, Spain, Greece, Belgium, Austria and the Czech Republic gleaning some culinary knowledge in each country, and though he has never visited India which is on his bucket list, he has learned a thing or two about classical Indian cuisine from what he describes as three of the best Indian chefs in both Northern and Southern cuisine.
